Research interests:

  • chemical and micromorphological study of iron oxides in soils (bog iron ore)
  • silicon transformations in soils (phytoliths, testate amoebae, diatoms, sponges)
  • soil genesis, classification and evolution

 

Participation and management of research projects:

  • 2006 – 2009 „Characteristics of amorphous and bio-pedogenic forms of silicon in polish soils”, project sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MEiSW).
