Teaching
The staff  organizes courses for 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-year students of the first-level full-time studies from the following faculties: Agriculture and Biology, Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, Forestry, and Interfaculty Studies of Environmental Protection. They also organize courses for first-year extramural students of the Faculty of Agriculture and Biology in Warsaw as well as in External Didactic Centres (in Łowicz and Widzew). In Łowicz there are also courses for 1- and 2-year extramural students from the Interfaculty Studies of Environmental Protection. Additionally, courses are organized for 1- and 2-year students of the second-level studies in the Faculty of Agriculture and Biology and the Interfaculty Studies of Environmental Protection.
            Apart from the basic soil science course, there also courses in: Pedospheric Hazards, Soil Degradation and Protection, Soil Fertility and Productivity, Technology of Soil Reclaiming, Environmental Management, Geomorphology, Soil Classification and Cartography, Evaluation of the Agricultural Production Space, Environmental Protection Law, Instrumental Analysis, Soils of Different Landscapes, Bioindication and Monitoring, Geology and Geomorphology, Diagnosis of Environmental Conditions, Evaluation of the Environmental and Health Risks. The students taking part in the courses have a chance to gain laboratory training and a complex view of the issues linked with the properties and typology of soils with particular focus on their utility in agriculture, horticulture, forestry and environmental protection.
