The Warsaw University of Life Sciences is the largest and oldest agricultural university in Poland. In year 1906 an Students of Agriculture Scientific Association was established at the University’s Faculty of Agriculture, whose activity, even during World War II, has contributed significantly to the high position held by WULS. The Students of Agriculture Scientific Association, as indicated by its name, is strongly connected to agriculture.
The primary aim of the Association is to broaden the knowledge of its members and to provide assistance to all those who may need it. Our organisation comprises dynamic and creative people, dedicated to broadening their knowledge on farmsteads and the work related. During the rapid development of agriculture it is very important to monitor all its transformations. Therefore, the Association organises seminars, conferences, integration meetings, research studies and scientific excursions. We do not only look after the professional development of the members of our Association. We also play a significant role by organising students’ free time, e.g. organising celebrations such as St. Andrew’s party, sharing the wafer prior to Christmas, etc.
Being a part of the Students of Agriculture Scientific Association at WULS, we also have opportunities to work with other student organisations.
Not only does working with us contribute to expanding your range of interests but it also facilitates forming many interesting acquaintances, which can additionally enrich the student life at WULF.
